Aptina has developed several demo kits.  The most recent demo hardware is the Demo3 which uses USB3 as the transport to the PC.   This will replace our USB2 demokit Demo2X, which will continue to be supported as well.  The demo kit hardware consists of a sensor headboard and a baseboard (USB2 or USB3) with a USB cable.  The Demo2X may also use a deserializer board depending on the output type.

A USB3 port (5Gb/s), on the Demo3, transports digital video data from the sensor to the host PC. A suite (DevSuite) of software applications (including DevWare) and a software development kit are provided with the demonstration system, which allow the user to display video from sensor on the host computer, to read and write sensor registers, and allow the user to write their own applications. To access the software please download from here. You will be required to register for access. More information about accessing and installing the software can be found in the "Development Kit Quick Start Guide" that accompanied your hardware or can be found online here.
