Aptina has developed several demo kits.  The most recent demo hardware is the Demo3 which uses USB3 as the transport to the PC.   This will replace our USB2 demokit Demo2X, which will continue to be supported as well.

A USB3 port (5Gb/s), on the Demo3, transports digital video data from the sensor to the host PC. A suite (DevSuite) of software applications (including DevWare) and a software development kit are provided with the demonstration system, which allow the user to display video from sensor on the host computer, to read and write sensor registers, and allow the user to write their own applications. Demo System Hardware Components

• Sensor Headboards with parallel and/or serial outputs
• Sensor Headboards with lens holders that can be adjusted to center the lens
• Deserializer Boards that receive data from serial outputs and convert them into parallel form for input into the Demo2X
