Aptina Drivers User Guide
Information on the various Aptina drivers
Introduction
This document describes the folder configuration and naming convention of the Aptina drivers.
Drivers Folder Configuration
All Aptina drivers are located in subfolders under C:\Aptina Imaging\drivers.
The subfolders are identified with their Operating System (OS) and OS size. Three OSs are supported (XP, Vista, and Windows 7), each with an OS size of 32-bit and 64-bit.
The following table identifies the available drivers and the names of the .inf file (which is used during the driver installation process).

Driver Installation
For instructions on how to install a USB driver, refer to "USB XP Driver User Guide.pdf" or "USB Windows7 Driver User Guide.pdf" for your given OS. These are located in C:\Aptina Imaging\doc\User Guides.
Refer to the "AVStream Switch User Guide.pdf" document for instructions on how to enable a Demo2X board to be a UVC device. Demo3 UVC support will be available in late 2012.
Driver Naming Conventions
The drivers (except with XP) follow a naming convention; if a driver combination isn't present it isn't supported.
The naming convention is aaabbcc., where:*
aaa = <driver type>: AVS = AVStream, USB = Demo2X, APT = Demo3
bb = <OS size>: 32 = 32-bit, 64 = 64-bit
cc = <OS>: xp = XP, vi = Vista, w7 = Windows 7
For XP_32, the "cyusb." = Demo2X, "cyusb3.* = Demo3, and "BF_bulk." are for the BlackFin device.
For XP_64, the "miusb2.inf." is for Demo2X, with no other drivers available.*
