Aptina Media Player was designed as a video validation & testing tool for frame and sequence processing development.
Aptina Media Player is essentially a Direct Show graph player. It will play any media format Direct Show can decode. Codecs (encode/decode driver) can be obtained from various websites. Once installed, they immediately provide Aptina Media Player with new media capability.

Aptina Media Player is a typical Media Player with Audio-Only, Audio & Video, Video Only, and playlist capabilities.
Beyond the basic playing capabilities, Aptina Media Player offers powerful Viewing, Interoperability with Aptina Image Viewer as well as Synchronization features.

The Sync Manager provides synchronized control of N-Side-By-Side instances of Aptina Media Player for precise play, positioning control and layout capabilities. The rendering performance will vary depending on the CPU/GPU architecture, namely memory, speed and the number of cores.

Frames can be captured in their native format, to clipboard, file or sent to Aptina Image Viewer for further analysis and processing.
