If the installation PC has internet access, then once the Demo3 is attached the driver will be downloaded and installer.

The internet access is not available or the Demo3 did not install automatically, then follow these instructions.

If you have installed DevWareX for the first time, you may have to manually install the Demo3 Device Driver.

  1. In the search bar,

  1. enter "Device Manager" and then select it in the pop-up.  You'll see this dialog:

2. The highlight DEMO3 indicates that the driver needs to be installed.  Double-click DEMO3 and this dialog will appear:

3. Highlight the "Driver" tab, and then select "Update Driver".  You'll see this dialog next:

4. Select "Browse my computer for drivers". At the next dialog, select "Browse..." and scroll down to "SYSTEM (C:)".

5. Use the down-arrow to expand the installation folder (either "Aptina Imaging" or "Aptina Imaging Dev" until you expand "drivers".

6. Select "Windows10_64" and then select "OK".

7. Select "Next". A progress bar will appear, and then you should see this dialog:

8. Select "Close" to close that dialog, and then "Close" again to close the dialog from step 2.

9. The main Device Manager dialog now appears. Scroll down and expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers and you should see this:

10. Restart DevWareX and you should now be able to use "Detect" from the "Startup Choices" dialog to find the attached sensor.
