The Windows8 USB3 Driver (64-bit only) is included in the DevSuite Installer.

For convenience, here's a link to a ZIP file with the drivers, and a file with the information presented here.

Here's a YouTube video, and the written instructions are presented below.
And here's a link to the instructions with screen shots.

NOTE:  You need to do this each time your reboot!

There are some instructions that discuss how to permanently disable it, but there appears to be no consensus on the proper method.

Written Instructions

  1. From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
  2. Click 'Change PC Settings'.
  3. Click 'General'.
  4. Scroll down, and click 'Restart now' under 'Advanced startup'.
NOTE: In Windows 8.1, the ‘Restart Now’ button has moved to ‘PC Setting -> Update & Recovery -> Recovery.’
  5. Wait a bit.
  6. Click 'Troubleshoot'.
  7. Click 'Advanced Options'
  8. Click 'Startup Settings'
  9. Click Restart.

When your computer restarts, select 'Disable driver signature enforcement' from the list. You can now load your modified driver. Reboot again once the driver is installed and all will be well.
